Founded in 2020 by coach Rafael Nóbrega, Tiki Surf Academy (formerly Shaka Surf Academy) is located at Fonte da Telha beach, next to Cabana Beach Bar. The school was created to transmit the pleasure and happiness that surfing has to offer, with core principles of fun, companionship and safety.
The environment is relaxed but professional, with a team of dedicated coaches. Rafael brings over 10 years of experience in the National Hopes Circuit and the Professional League (Liga Meo). Their goal is for you to enter as an unknown beach-goer and leave as a member of their family.
Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to improve your technique, Tiki offers private lessons, group classes, and monthly training plans for all ages and levels. Equipment is included in all classes, and they also offer collection points across Costa da Caparica and Fonte da Telha for those who need transport.
