Gecko Surf School is an FPS-certified surf school based at Praia do Norte, Costa da Caparica since 2016. Founded by coach Nuno Gecko, the school offers private, semi-private, and group surf lessons with a maximum of 5 students per instructor.
The school operates year-round on the consistent beach breaks near the CDS jetties. All equipment (boards, wetsuits, rash guards) is included. Lessons cover ocean safety, surf etiquette, paddling technique, standing up, and wave selection.
Gecko also offers surf guiding for experienced surfers, birthday surf parties, and corporate team-building events. The meeting point is at Praia do Norte, easily accessible from central Costa da Caparica.
